International Women’s Day 2022

A survey conducted by the BC Construction Association (BCCA) indicates the industry is becoming increasingly diverse, with 10,667 women now working in construction in the province. Women now make up 6.2 per cent of the workforce, a 35 per cent increase over a five-year period. At Farmer Construction, we celebrate equality in the workplace and the achievements of women, not only on International Women’s Day but every day! To specifically address the women at Famer Construction on International Women’s Day; we are proud, honoured, and lucky to be working alongside these women! They are incredibly strong, intelligent individuals, are always taking the participative leadership approach, and are constantly presenting new and innovative ideas. The Farmer Construction TEAM are extremely fortunate that these women are part of the Farmer TEAM! Together we can #BreakTheBias!
